Graduation!

Well, I finally made time to sit down and catch up on this bad boy, life has been hectic!

First of all hecticness, I graduated, finally! Wooo who! I was pinned and inducted into the profession of a nurse and took an oath and pledge with honor to devote my life to nursing. The pinning ceremony was at St.Marks Cathedral downtown Salt Lake which turned out really nice. I think my favorite was the bagpipes! I had asked my preceptor from the ER that I did my capstone in, Rachelle, to pin me. I can only strive to be half the nurse she is! She was amazing, took me under her belt, showed me the ropes, and protected me as a student nurse from all the nurses that eat their prey. Unfortanetly, she had gotten in a car accident on her way to the ceremony and was unable to pin me, thankfully she is ok. And tho she didnt physically pin me, I know that when I grow up, if I ever do, I want to practice like her. One of the graduation gifts she gave me was Dr. Seuss "Oh the places you'll go". Great book, everyoen should read it!.

The following day was graduation. Which took forever, but all in all was good. I dont know what I was more proud about, getting my diploma after 4 years of no life or having the loudest family in the entire stadium. I think out of the 800 undergrads and grad students, my family had the most blow horns and I was the only one with a cut out of my name....no getting out of that one! After the first hour, my name went from Cassie to Sasie to Assie.... someone wasnt doing their job lol.

I can not thank my family and friends enough for dealing with me through the hallacious process of nursing school!

The soon to be in-laws. Could not have made it without them. I would have been home sick even more!

 My Maid of Honor April, her boyfriend graduated as class of 2011 also!

And ofcourse, Bently, who suffered from his moma studying 24/7. He will now have a much better life!


So now that we had got garduation over with.... I got a job! I start working for Intermountain Medical Center's Respiratory Intensive Care Unit on the 13th! Yae!
